Apart from protecting products from counterfeiting, hologram products are also used for many other purposes. Hologram sticker or labels are made from prismatic; various colors lights that make them look extremely attractive. These hologram products are now-a-days also used as decorations in parties, for school or college projects or even on cards. Buying a hologram sticker for making cards may prove to be a little expensive, so the best choice is to make these hologram stickers at home. All you will need is a sheet of hologram paper, scissors and a glitter pen.
- Take a long sheet of a card in which you are planning to make the design. Fold the card exactly in half, just as to give it a look of a greeting card.
- Now take the sheet of the hologram paper. Cut it in the shape of the card with a pair of scissors. Ones you have cut it properly stick it to the front side of the card with glue or a fevicol. Stick it thoroughly so that it doesn’t come out later. If you want your card to look a little more unique, you can cut the hologram sheet in different shapes and stick it on the card.
- Now wait for some time, so that the glue dries thoroughly. Take a glitter paint of any color and draw different shapes lines to give your card a holographic effect. Color it in such a way that it does not look messy and scattered.
- Now write a message you want to tell on the paper, on any space, using glitter paint. Remember that whatever you draw or write on the paper is written quickly so that the paint does not spread at all.
- Keep the paint to dry. You can also use the rest of the hologram paper by cutting it in different shapes to give your card a more attractive look.
- Finally complete the card by writing your message and name on the inside.
